We highly recommend inserting your lenses after you have completed your creative makeup and blood splatters. Ensure you have thoroughly cleaned your hands of any leftover product before handling your lenses, by doing so you are taking the correct steps to ensure your lenses do not come into contact with any of the makeup or SFX products and potentially irritate your eye. Keep your lenses soaked in lens solution for at least 2 hours whilst you apply your makeup so that they are well-prepped for insertion.
