Check out some of our affiliates trying out the Ouija makeup trend and see the different styles they have used to turn their faces and bodies into Ouija boards.
@tapintotristen has painted black letters and numbers on her chest in a classic font style. This is paired with a sun and moon on each shoulder. This clever placement makes great use of the natural shape of the shoulder and to give it extra flair she has used the black colour to outline the shapes while the sun and moon emerge from her skin. On her face, she has added Yes and No as well as the planchette. In contrast to the other parts of her Ouija board costume design, the planchette is painted in white to match the white mesh coloured contact lenses.
Check out @tapintotristen’s Ouija board makeup tutorial to see each step of her creative process so you can try it out for yourself. This easy makeup tutorial requires only a few items including white and black face paint or makeup and coloured contact lenses. To create a cool contrast and reflect the colours she has used in her makeup, Tristen has added one White Mesh Lens and one Black Halloween Lens to this costume.
@causeandfxmakeup has added a skeleton outline to her Ouija board makeup. We love this extra spooky detail; it makes it look as if the spirits have been summoned and are present with her. The etched gold writing looks as if it is aglow with fire and has been burned into her skin. This is paired with a planchette over the eye featuring pumpkins, bats, and ghosts in a Halloween theme. @causeandfxmakeup has used the White Blind Lenses for a similar effect to the White Mesh Lenses used by Tristen. The difference is that the white blind lenses completely restrict vision whereas the White Mesh Lenses leave small squares of transparent lens for limited visibility and a unique effect.
@charrar.b has created an incredibly detailed Ouija costume including text on the chest, skulls on her upper arms and a sun and moon on the shoulders. This amazing attention to detail is continued in the planchette which is placed on her forehead. To add to the spooky vibe of this makeup, she has added black drips to her facial features and some of the text. @charrar.b has also opted for a white lens but has given herself full visibility with the White Halloween Zombie Lenses.
@charrar.b has taken it one step further to spell out a word on her makeup Halloween Ouija in this spooky reel. We hope she hasn’t summoned the spirits!
