For your Mad Hatter makeup kit you will need:

In our collection of Mehron makeup and Paintglow makeup you can find the face paints you need to get started with your Mad Hatter DIY costume.

First, add your base of Mehron Clown White. Add a small amount of product to one of our beauty blenders, found in our Accessories collection. Dab on the product and then start to work it with your beauty blender to create a full white face paint. Make sure to set your clown white makeup with powder to ensure it lasts and isn’t sticky.

Next take pink, red, purple, and blue eyeshadow to create colourful Mad Hatter eye makeup. Blend your colours to create a vibrant design around your eyes. Some powders and face paints can be used around the eyes instead of eyeshadow but make sure to check their suitability.

Continue using the colour, particularly the purple around your face to contour your nose, jaw, forehead and cheeks.

@makeupmadhouse’s Pro Tip: If the colour is too bright, use a white powder on top to tone it down.

Next, you need to make sure your eyebrows match the Mad Hatter’s vibrant orange hair. Take your Mehron orange face paint and draw on exaggerated cartoon eyebrows over your brows.

Add any details of your choosing to your eyes such as eyeliner, mascara or false eyelashes. Finally, add your chosen lip colours to complete your makeup.

Once you have completed your makeup, you are ready to add your wig, hat and Mad Hatter costume.
